Missio-SACBC (PMS)

The Pontifical Mission Societies are a Worldwide Network of prayer and charity at the service of the Holy Father in his support of missionary activity, particularly in young developing churches.

The Pope’s Charities for World Mission

Pope Francis reminds us that each of us are called to be Missionary Disciples. In Evangelii Gaudium he writes “I am a mission on this earth; that is the reason why I am here in this world. We have to regard ourselves as sealed, even branded, by this mission of bringing light, blessing, enlivening, raising up, healing and freeing.”

Missio-SACBC helps to reveal God’s love as we work with local missionaries in their outreach to communities that are poor or in need, regardless of their background or belief. Sometimes this need might be very specific like new classrooms to assist with Catechesis in a parish; Or it might be assisting with the training of seminarians and the ongoing formation of priests and religious. We strive to help in any way possible to help share the joy of the Gospel.

By supporting Missio-SACBC in this mission, you give expression to the Mission that you have received from God and play a vital part in creating a vibrant Catholic Church for the future. By praying for the work of Missio or by helping to raise funds or making a personal donation YOU make our mission possible.

Together we are enriching today’s global Catholic Community

Together we are training tomorrow’s generation of Priests, Sisters and Brothers.

Together we are giving hope to the world’s poorest children.

Together we are Missio.

Who are we?
